Stowmarket Carnival is a wonderful family event and one of very few Carnivals still running in Suffolk.

A weekend event in July, we start with a procession through town of decorated floats, dancers, bands, and acts, ending at the Recreation Ground fete with live music, a Fun Fair, and a range of food, craft, small trader, and charity stalls.

Run by unpaid volunteers, and relying heavily on sponsorship and donations of both money and services, the Carnival provides affordable fun and entertainment for local families.
